Overview At Freddie’s Fishing we offer straightforward, transparent pricing designed to provide excellent value while covering guide time, local knowledge, gear, and permit costs. All trips include professional instruction, safety equipment (PFDs), tackle and terminal tackle (rods/reels available on request), basic bait/lures, on‑water photography of the day, and pickup of local regulations and hatch information. Below are suggested base rates and common add‑ons, contact us for custom multi‑day itineraries or group bookings.

Sample Trip Rates (USD)

• Half‑Day Trip (4 hours)  Up to 2 anglers: $275
  Ideal for beginners or those short on time; includes instruction and on‑water coaching.
• Full‑Day Trip (8 hours)  Up to 2 anglers: $450
  Best for more fishing time, travel to productive runs, and a more relaxed pace.
• Additional Angler  Each extra person (2+ max for boat safety): $75 per person
• Family Half‑Day (up to 4 people, shore/wade trip): $375
• Family Full‑Day (up to 4 people): $650
• Specialty  Tailwater Trip (e.g., Nantahala guided drift or float where additional fees apply): $500–$650 (depending on launch and permit costs)
• Casting Clinic  Private Lesson (2 hours): $150 per person
• Multi‑Day or Remote Trips: Custom pricing — please request a quote

Add‑Ons and Rentals

• Rod & Reel Rental: $35 per person (all gear sanitized and tuned)
• Waders & Boots Rental: $25 per person (limited sizes)
• Travel Fee: $0.75–$1.50 per mile roundtrip beyond 30 miles, or a flat travel surcharge (will be confirmed at booking)
• Evening or Sunrise Trip Premium: $25 per person (for special timing requests)

Discounts, Deposits, and Payment

• Youth Discount: 10% off for anglers age 16 and under (on base rate).
• Repeat Client Discount: 10% discount on your second booking within 12 months.
• Deposit: A 50% non‑refundable deposit is required to reserve your date; balance is due the morning of the trip. Deposits are transferable to another date if you reschedule within policy windows.
• Accepted payment methods: Credit card (via secure payment link), Venmo, PayPal, or cash on the day of the trip. We’ll send a secure invoice for the deposit.

Cancellation & Weather Policy

• Weather and river‑flow conditions matter. If conditions are unsafe (high flows, extreme weather) we will work to reschedule or, at our discretion, offer a full refund.
• Cancellation by client: Full refund of deposit if cancelled 14+ days before the trip; 50% refund if cancelled 7–13 days before; no refund for cancellations within 48 hours unless we are able to rebook the date. Exceptions may be made for medical or emergency situations.
• Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, please contact us as early as possible, deposits can be applied to a new date when provided 7+ days notice.

Gratuity and Service Expectations

• Gratuities are appreciated but not required. A standard guideline is 15–20% of the trip cost for excellent service; larger tips are common for multi‑day or highly customized trips.

Notes

All pricing is subject to change and may vary seasonally. Some specialty rivers or managed tailwaters may require additional launch or permit fees which will be disclosed before booking. If you’d like, we can create printable gift certificates and group‑rate quotes for corporate or family events.
